At HWT Techy, we execute custom digital solutions—including web design, edge-centric development, e-commerce architectures, and automated testing integrations. Because these services are tailored specifically to the requirements of each client, our refund and project cancellation rules are structured as follows:
01 // Discovery & Initial Deposit
Prior to commencing any development, we conduct a thorough discovery phase and issue a Statement of Work (SOW). The initial onboarding deposit or setup fee is non-refundable, as it allocates dedicated developer resources, UI/UX conceptualization, and infrastructure planning to your project's schedule.
02 // Milestone-Based Payments
Most of our contract agreements operate on a milestone-based billing schedule (e.g. Design Approval, Alpha Release, Beta Handshake, and Launch). Once a milestone has been reviewed, approved, and paid for, those funds are non-refundable. Any adjustments or concerns regarding code delivery must be raised during the designated milestone feedback window before signing off.
03 // Project Cancellation
Either party may terminate the project agreement in writing in accordance with the cancellation guidelines specified in your Master Services Agreement (MSA). In the event of early cancellation, the client is responsible for paying for all engineering hours completed and milestones reached up to the date of cancellation notice. All source code, design files, and database schemas completed up to that point will be transferred to the client upon receipt of the final work-to-date payment.
04 // Support & Maintenance Subscriptions
Monthly retainers, hosting support, or software maintenance packages can be cancelled at any time with a 30-day written notice. HWT Techy does not offer partial refunds or prorated credits for unused days within an active billing cycle.
